Supported Devices

Canvas supports some mobile devices through the Canvas by Instructure application. It is compatible with the following mobile operating systems, on both tablets and mobile phones:

iOS 7.0+
Android 4.0+

The app can be downloaded from the Play Store on Android or the App Store on iOS devices. Search for "Canvas by Instructure" and install.

A more in-depth listing of what features are or are not supported on the Canvas application can be found on the Dashboard Functionality Links to an external site.chart. Although Canvas can be accessed through a mobile browser, it is not officially supported. For the best user experience, use the Canvas by Instructure app.

Logging into the Canvas App

When logging in for the first time, the Canvas app will ask for your institution's name. You'll select Oklahoma State University from the list. From there, you will be taken to Central Authentication Services where you should enter your O-Key email address and password to log in.

Besides Canvas, this course utilizes some other third party sites that may work better (or ONLY work) with their apps installed. All apps are free.
